The verdant resort resembles a big art gallery, with art and antiques displayed in every corner, and it comes as no surprise to learn that the hotel won two consecutive Thailand Boutique Awards between 2014-2015 and 2016 -2017. The retro style rooms are housed in a compound inspired by three architectural styles, traditional Lanna, Chinese and Colonial, resulting in an elegant and luxurious hideaway, its interior adorned with stylish brass artefacts.
The resort is surrounded by agricultural plots; a small paddy field with a scarecrow standing in the middle can be seen through the front of the guest room. It reflects the practice that follows the late King Rama IX’s sufficiency economy philosophy.
Walk around the resort to appreciate the artistic and antique items on display, especially the numerous pictures of King Rama IX that are placed in every room: the resort is well known for having the biggest collection of pictures of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Art exhibitions are organized regularly for visitors and locals to view all the different items put on display.
